Do we really need a different reporter for national/local coverage of same stories? Also, is it really necessary to send reporters/camera crews out to locations when there is really no need - eg standing on motorway bridges commenting on weather/ road congestion etc when it could just be done as a studio report? Football coverage is vastly overdone with overpaid, verbose, egotistical pundits. I could go on.They could save quite a bit by getting rid of all the royal correspondents across the world. A different one every time they come on.
