Graham Cox are you implying that pets who get scared by fireworks aren' t looked after properly? Our dog isnt bothered by fireworks but i know many well cared for pets who are..particularly rescues ..or are abused animals snowflaked too? You realise that there is noise everything in big areas, right? Pets are upset by nearly every single sound. Unless you have zero technology and walk around in tiptoes, you would be apart of the selfish crowd that you claim to dislike. Go to a country or American state where they ban fireworks.
