My safe, foreign rescue that could be rehomed to a family with small kids and cats. Isabelle Rineau No, all of my animals are rescues. I don’t understand why anyone would buy a cat. You can pretty much get any cat you like from a rescue.

  There should also be a rule where social services, police etc can make visits to houses with vulnerable children unannounced, and demand to see the children and living conditions. Then hopefully some of these children will be helped. Yvonne El Fahal what rule ? Do you mean legislation that means even when being refused access SW's can get in because when they are refused and it's a child protection case they have to rely in police to get access/get in. Do you not think Arthur's father, someone who should have protected and loved him unconditionally should be held accountable for killing his OWN SON or is it just easier to blame the poorly funded, overworked and overstretched services?  so many eggplant-head and ill-informed comments on this post amazed "people" (I use that term loosely) still bandy about the inaccurate rhetoric about our "amazing welfare handouts". And the level of inhumanity expressed and freely written on a public post for everyone to see scary and disturbing. This whole thing has exposed the dreadful treatment the French dish out to these people. you put up with the consequences a lot have ties to this country..via family, work (helping british forces). A minority are in hotels, predominantly budget ones. They do not receive the usual services that other guests would, like a pool, sauna, room service etc. They get meals yes, but of poor quality. One teenage boy was actually taken to hospital suffering from malnutrition having stayed in a hotel, as the food was so inadequate and inedible. Others are in shared hostels, and dilapidated barracks.

 This includes the youngest kids too. It's not a problem, teaching goes on, life goes on, special events go on, just all masked. We also still offer online education for those who don't feel comfortable sending their kids in person. And guess what - no school disruptions or closings here. Never mind that I won't be able to bear it BUT I rather we get used to wearing masks than having our children themselves or watching their friends come to school acting weird having realised a death within the family / extended family / friends. Now that would be super psychological! Tobi Majin I'm in Austin in Texas and it wasn't easy! Our Governor told us we had to open up the schools, that we couldn't mandate masks or offer online education, and made all kinds of financial threats.
