Even the Tories in those far off days feared the mob , and if it got restless they usually had the sense to back down , fearing revolution.

Always the police and outside instigators never anything to do with the protesters i would imagine you like the violence but only against people who you think are no going to have a go back how are you holding the government to account if your political point of view was so popular why did the tories get voted in with such a majority of the British public.   this started off peaceful; its escalated that bad because its provoked by government. Its not police or protesters fault actually its the Bill and government that are playing us off against each other. You can't stop protests, they are a natural bi product of making or not making laws.

  Their coverage is a sanitised version of events put forward by the police and the home office and does not represent the protest accurately. They have failed to give equal coverage to those involved in the story, not including the voices of demonstrations in any meaningful way, not including footage of people sat on the floor being beaten with batons and shields, attacking journalists, punching women in the face. Not questioning officials why the force was necessary etc I could go on. They could have brought on organisations such as Netpol, who would have happily commented on the violence at the demonstration yesterday. It really does put their impartiality into disrepute. If such scenes occurred in Russia, they would condemn it and have politicians come on their programs and condemn it.

Bully Priti is easily the worst minister of a very very bad bunch. I in no way condone violence but if you look at other videos, it comes from both directions. The police are not blameless in this. Most of the people on the protest are there peacefully protesting against the anti democratic piece of garbage that is the Bill. Why are the mainstream media helping the Government push that through rather than reporting on the misinformation from last week about the police suffering broken bones, something we now know to be untrue?
