Healthcare in the States have some odd cost saving methods, and they are called Insurance Companies. The only cost savings are the people saving to pay the exorbitant prices who don't have insurance. Where is the cost savings on the price of insulin, other than in the pockets of fat Pharma companies? Don't for one minute think that this type of incident only happens elsewhere, in other countries. My wife had Ovarian Cancer. She fell sick in October. Her Doctor kept brushing it off as something else. She spent an entire Christmas doubled over lying on the sofa in pain.
