First Brexit, then covid, caused people to have nothing to pay for their living. Rising prices of renting a flat, electricity, gas and fuel bills plus low wages and greed of employers who unscrupulously sent people on unpaid leave. These were the factors that caused the sudden outflow of skilled workers. Simply they did not have choice just to go back.
