Never ever alone together. Who goes out and buys an adult dog that they don’t know and allows it around a very young child . This wasn’t the time in the child’s life to introduce and adult dog to the party . Even if you have known your dog for years and it has been brought up with children they shouldn’t be left unattended ever . It isn’t fair on the dog if nothing else . This terrible out come is completely down to the parents , a tragedy that could have been avoided . So very sad for the dog who has been completely let down by the humans in its life and will now be blamed for this very sad outcome and for the innocent child who has lost their life due to its inadequate parents . A heartbreaking outcome all round. All these people saying the child shouldn’t of been left alone with the dog, nowhere in this article does it say the child was left. The dog could of attacked with the parents present.
