A Comparative Analysis of American Policy-Making and European Integration in the Post-1945 and Post-1990 Eras" during his tenure as Kissinger Scholar at the Kluge Center, Larres participated in various scholarly conferences and taught a number of seminars at Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Georgetown University, George Washington University, and the State Department's Foreign Service Institute. He also spoke to various Churchill societies in the United States and organized several public events at the Library of Congress, including a talk on his recent Churchill book last December; a discussion of his experiences of "Life in Northern Ireland and Belfast"; and a roundtable discussion in March marking the 50th anniversary of the death of Joseph Stalin.
