This maintenance involved building-wide power outages, resulting in several public Library websites being taken off line. Due to an equipment failure that occurred during startup, some functions of our website are currently unavailable. Howard Vincent Kurtz, curator of costumes and textiles at the Hillwood Museum and Gardens, will discuss his book “Ingénue to Icon: 70 Years of Fashion from the Collection of Marjorie Merriweather Post” at the Library of Congress on Oct. 21. The book accompanies an exhibition of the same title at Hillwood until Dec. 31, 2015.
